This world is actually abundant. But we have false ideas that make things scarce. For example, manufacturers are secretly paid millions by governments to produce products that sell for cheap. Merchants sell you the stock bit by bit at very affordable prices because distributing fast-moving consumer goods at low prices creates demand for more production, which means manufacturing profits. Food production, building construction, roads and railways construction, supermarkets, superstores… these are all billion dollar industries. One red apple costs you 60 cents. But your government has paid $60 for that apple. An apple tree growing from seed takes 6 to 10 years before it bears fruit. You can’t pay me nothing for all that time and effort spent growing your apple! So your government pays big bucks — secretly, so they don’t shock you about the true cost of the world. If you are a merchant buying stock in bulk, things are actually very cheap; almost like free goods or giveaways. So think about your unique value proposition before you start a business. It’s so easy to go bankrupt if you don’t know what you are doing.
If you are not connected and funded to make money in big business, your other safest bet for survival is a job. It should be easy to make money in a good world. But, because money is so highly coveted, the methods for making money are continuously hidden away by the trades people. Do you know what sauce the chef uses? It’s a secret! Do you know how the electrician changes a wall circuit? It’s a trade skill!
If you don’t go to chef school or electrical school, you won’t get to learn these trade secrets! That secret chef sauce… that magneto-detector (stud finder) the electrician uses to trace wires in your walls…. Doing that job, is money.
Some people did not have the desire to go to school. Thus they missed out on learning a trade or profession. When you don’t have the special skills, that is when you will have trouble earning money. So one way to earn money, is to have special skills! That is when people would pay you a premium for your abilities.
There is a school for every trade and profession, you know? You just need to know what would you like to do in life that would give you the greatest happiness from your work? Then enrol to join a school in that profession. Learn the trade, and apply for work. That will make you money.
In the case where no one is hiring you for your trained profession, you can still startup your own self-employed business. With a website, you can market you own services. You can sell to customers individually. Need a chartered accountant? Need a private lawyer? You can do it!
In the case where you want to expand, you can hire employees and build up a business. For example, your own law firm. Or your own restaurant, Chef. Or your own electrical business. Employing 1-5 people at first, and growing from there. But if you want to do this entrepreneur approach, I suggest you go to business school first, in addition to trade school. For example, I am an electrician by training (trade school), but I also have an MBA (business school). I want to start my own electrical business. Or, with such qualifications, you could become a Director in Sony. Which do you want?
Chinese spirits have a saying, “书是死的。读很多书会输。”
Which means, “Books are dead. Studying will cause one to lose in life.”
How can this be true? The spirits probably just did not like going to school. They must have wanted to play truant — skip school. Thus, following this fallacy led them down the wrong path, leading to a life of money struggle.
Finally, one thing everyone should do, is learn how to invest money for lucrative returns. With that modest money we earn from our job or self-employed business, we can still earn like a big business owner if we know how to invest our cash for high returns — know how to make money work for you!
And very finally, you need to load up on wealth creation knowledge. There is an art and science to making money that you need to pick up on if you are going to create massive wealth for yourself. For this, I recommend the Rich Dad series of books by Robert Kiyosaki and his Rich Dad Advisors. Following Robert’s work, you will understand how the rich think about money and what they do to earn it.
Note: If you see the Google AI proclaiming that Robert Kiyosaki is “1.2 billion dollars in debt”, you must know that he is actually owning 1.2 billion in assets (he is a property investor). He actually has good debt not bad debt — that means he owns investment properties by borrowing from the banks (good debt). His assets are 1.2 billion dollars of the banks’ money and that is rich.
Dear God, This I Pray: “May everyone in the world be wealthy and successful. No more poverty or avarice. No more yearning for money and suffering lack. Everyone with sustenance and wealth. May the world blossom beautifully as a result. Thank You Lord, Thank You God. In Jesus Name I Pray. Amen.”
